Paintless Dent Removal Question

I was one of the fortunate ones who received hail damage to my 96 T/A about four weeks ago. I have very minor dings on the hood and driver's quarter panel. (Luckily I was able to get my GTP inside right before it hit). I took my car to get a paintless dent removal estimate and the guy said he would have to drill a single hole in the door jamb to do the job right. He would then put a black plug in the hole. What would you guys do? Insurance will pay for it either way. Thanks.

I would go to another dent repair place. He should be able to remove the tail light and get to any area on the quarter panel he needs to. Ask him about it, and if he thinks he can't do it that way, go to another shop.

He said he would have to take the tail light out, but would not be able to get to the front of the quarter panel because of a seam.

It is a very small hole that he will have to drill.
At the largest it will be the size of a nickle. You can easily
cover it back up and repaint it, but it won't stand out much.
I would go ahead and get the paintless done because it will
be very hard to match the paint on your car because of it's age.
