Painting Valve covers..
Painting Valve covers..
How do you do this. DO you have to sand them down first, and then paint with a high-temp paint? I saw some paint at discount today that withstood up to 1500 degrees...hehe thats plenty ofcoourse. This was also a spray paint.
Just wondering if you need to sand first. If so, what should you use to sand it down?

That looks cool and all..but im not interested in polished. I just want to paint it red to go with my whole black/red theme. Also im getting the lt4 hotcam installed, so it would be cool to have them red.
Anymore suggestions on how to paint it the right way?
