Paint wheels black?

Has anyone ever painted their standard '99 Z28 rims black?

If yes, which product was used?
What process was followed?
What was the outcome?

I have a red '99 Z28 convertible with a black top and I think that black rims will look great.

If anyone has pictures of a similar car, I would love to see them.

Thanks for your help.

Erwin

Isn't there like a spray paint that is avaiable? I saw one last time at Autozone. Cheap solution. If not then, yes powder coat them. I am planning to try some on mine just to see what it looks like. Anybody have pics of a pewter camaro with black wheels?
