Painting calipers but cant find a high temp Clear

Post Painting calipers but cant find a high temp Clear

I found the right kind of Paint, plastikote caliper paint. 900 degree but I cant find a high temp clear. And is primer really necassary. Thanks

I didn't use primer or clear on mine and they still look great after 6 months. Just be sure you clean the calipers good before you paint them.

VHT makes a high temp 1200 deg clear spray paint.I got mine at my local speed shop but if you cant find it local.

You gan get it at www.summitracing.com .Search for VHT.It's part # VHT-SP115

Well Im gonna try it without the Clear and see how it goes. Probably just temporarily, Ill look for that clear when I get some free time. Thanks guys
