Can I do this or will it affect how the battery would work? I personally don't see how. I have a yellow optima and just wanted to paint the yellow part white. I was thinking just sand it a little a spray it covering the terminals and so on.

ANy ideas?

 

i dont think it will hurt that battery at all, but i am not sure how it would hold up, usually plastic doesn't like to hold paint very well. Instead maybee make some sort of cover out of fiberglass and paint that. It will hide your battery and wiring. i might do that
