Painted the interior with 3m underbody coating...
Re: Painted the interior with 3m underbody coating...
It did a lot; although the exhaust still was insane with just LT's, X-pipe, and out the sides. It did reduce the noise from the car; road and body resonanse from the exhaust and stereo quite a bit.
I actually removed a generic layer of dynamat that had been installed, and worked very poorly, and didn't adhere well at all even when installed with a heat-gun.

i see you or the previous owner took the "easy-way" out and did the nice little fuel pump changeout throw the hatch....i had to do it to but my cutout looks like shiot
Re: Painted the interior with 3m underbody coating...
Actually the fuel pump was done proir to my ownership. I was very happy to see it already done when I lifted the carpet to do the undercoating. I was able to get all my interior back in today. I started my car up and its incredible how much it muffled the exhaust. I used to want to wear earplugs, now it doesnt sound much louder than a loudmouth or something equivilant.
I cant wait to get the exhaust to exit out the rear, there should be a huge improvement of sound quality once that is done.
