painted headers

I have a set of pacesetter long tube headers that i coated with por 15 high temp paint. I was wondering if you guys have had good experiences with painted headers or does it burn off in a week? i dont want to have to rip out the headers in my car after going through the trouble. I thought the jet hot coating was a waste of money. any input?

Cera-metallic coatings offer added HP by keeping the heat in the primaries, reduce under hood temps, reduce heat-cyle weld cracking and corrosion. High temp paint will do little more than reduce corrosion, if it stays on.
