But i dunno about the stripe in the back. Do you think it would look ok without the stripe on the spoiler and with just the top of the scoop red?

I have a 96 red z and a ss hood and i want to paint mine black.
In the same spot.

 

By the time i got a hold of him he had already finished the hood Oh well ill just repaint it when i have the ss-spoiler done
