Ok, I was thinking of doing the Hella FF75 headlight conversion. The question is, would these housings accept an H7 HID kit?

Has it been done before? Otherwise, I'll just get some different bulbs.

By the way, pu12en12g or anyone else, have you seen these 6000K bulbs on eBay?

Damn! Those things are really blue! I'm not sure what to think of them, I don't know how well those could light up the road... but they are 50 state legal

Yes you can use a H7 HID kit with the FF75's

Just remember that the FF75's aren't optimized for HID. OEM (projector) HID's are designed with a drastic "CUTOFF" so that you won't blind oncoming drivers.

I have never tried 6000k bulbs, because I am happy with my 5000k ones. Someone posted the other day about his 7000k Nokya bulbs, and he really liked them.

Now.. I did buy my girl some EuroDesigns bulbs (I forget what color temp they were) and they burned out within 1 week. So I honestly can't recommend that brand.

thanks for the input.

What are your thoughts on using the stock housings with a universal 9006 HID kit?
