Angry macewenmotorsports sucks!!

I ordered a simple gauge bezel which is one of their sale items last tuesday, they say on their website they ship usps and to expect 3-4 days for shipping. so I was expecting this thing saturday or monday. yesterday (tuesday) I wrote then an email asking them to tell me when it's going to arrive. This jerk asks all these questions about my order and i reply ( I was a little upset because obvisouly he's just delaying) So then he writes back to me just a few minutes ago saying he will cancel my order and credit my card, so anyway I wrote back to him that i never asked him to cancel the order I only wanted him to track the shipping. He's being a complete pain in my butt and i'm never going to fool with them again. It really pisses me off, I don't have time to waste because i'm expecting a package that is 3 days late and then have this clown give me a bunch of crap because I ask him to do his job.

I think the error came from how you interpret this on their site... "Usually ships in 3-4 business days."

To me that means it will leave THEIR warehouse in 3-4 business days... not arrive on your doorstep in 3-4 days.

yep thats it! If you were to call and ask what is meant by "Usually ships in 3-4 business days." They will tell you that it means that the product(s) will leave their warehouse in 3-4 budiness days.

I guess anyone that would call themself the vomit god would have that opinon. At least my car isn't 10 years old like Al Bundy's and yours. You've been on this board only a few weeks and i'm already sick of all your smart remarks and sarcastic attitude. My complaint isn't that the order is late (which it is) but that the guy was delaying and then canceled my order when I did not ask him to do so, In other words he was being a jackass.

When someone says that an item ships in 3-4 days, IMO that means it will ship to me in 3-4 days, Why would I give a crap when it left their warehouse, I want to know when i'll get it.

I think some of us are getting a little too personal with the remarks, eh? Let's play nice.

I always though that when something says "item ships in 3-4 days" means it will ship in 3-4 days, and not arrive to me in 3-4 days.

I can understand your frustration, MacEwen is a small company and maybe things got misunderstood. Saying they
"suck" is sorta jumping the gun if there indeed is a misunderstanding or miscommunication, but then again I may be biased because I have their products and I love them.

Hope you get it resolved!

Alright, thanks for breaking it up. I'm just upset because I did basically nothing this week because I was waiting for this to arrive, I wasted a lot of time and it's stupid on my part to sit around and wait for something and then get upset because it's not on time. I still think that saying something ships in 3-4 days when they mean it leaves the warehouse is a little misleading.

You're backing us up right there!
"products will be SHIPPED in 3-4 days" means it will ship(go out) in 3-4 days
"products will ARRIVE in 3-4 days" means it will be at your door in 3-4 days.

I ordered my bezel and gauges from him, and though they did take a little longer to get than what his website says, I wrote him a simple (polite) email and he responded that they were on back order and they would arrive shortly. He didn't cancel my order, and he even helped when there was some confusion and I accidentally ordered and received 2 bezels. He was going to let me return the second bezel, no restocking fee, and he was even going to pay for the shipping to send the second bezel back to him. I ended up selling the second one locally so he ended up not having to do this for me, but he still made a great effort to keep a customer happy. And he always responded to my emails within a day.

His customer service was great. I read what you posted in this thread, and if I got an email from you that sounded like anything you posted here, I probably would have cancelled your order and credited your card too...just to get you out of my hair.

I would have to agree. His customer service was excellent when I ordered from him. He even called me at home to make sure everything was ok. Some people just can't be pleased.....

MaCewen has great customer service. If I woulda had you talk to me like that then I would have just refused to sell to you.Sometimes you have to wait a few extra days.Especially when it is a small personalized operation like MaCewen....
