Your car looks great. Our taste runs very similar. You're not gonna believe this next one- seconds before I read your last post, I was 'Photoshoping' some ZR1s. I want black/Chrome ZR1s just like the ones on your car (or something similar) so your're gonna have to start hunting. I was also looking at these (TORQ-THRUST II):

But they don't exist. I 'Photoshopped' their chrome ones. They do have a black version (CL205s I think) but I don't like them. I'm leaning towards the black ZR1s so if you have any info on where they can be 'gotten', I'd appreciate it.

 

Thx! I actually have Y2k C5 wheels and my wife and I painted them ourselves (will be powdercoated later).

This place sells ZR1 wheels. http://www.voodooperformance.com/c4/c4.html They look like they're dark gray though and they don't have a polished lip. Hmm.

The TTII wheels would look great like that. I have seen them painted or powdercoated gray before. That is, I think they are Torq Thrust IIs. There are so many similar ones.

I have the '69 Z/28 deck lid emblem and was thinking of filling in the C A M A R O letters and installing it centered just below the trunk key-lock.

I got that idea from someone else. Someone that had a red Z as a matter of fact. I have a SS spoiler and Corsa exhaust so my back end looks different though.

I like it because it follows that 1st gen nostalgia theme. That's also the reason I got a black billet grille.

 

Yeah, I should have looked closer. I assumed ZR1. They look good anyway. Thanks for the info- I hadn't run across the 'voodooperformance' site before. The powder coating is a good idea but whatever wheel I choose, I will definitely want a pitch black interior.

 

See I want to do that (actually black and red) but since my dash and all the panels are gray, what can I do? If I was rich, I'd just get it all leather covered but I don't have that kind of dough.
