One of my halo's burnt out while installing HID's, need some info

Ok, just got my halo's installed yesterday and today I installed my HID kit. Everything worked GREAT!! Until.... while everything was on, I moved the balast around and it rubbed against some of the metal brackes located around the head light. I saw some tiny sparks from the balast touching the frame...now my halo is out

I spliced the halo to the front side marker 194 bulb, the bulb is working fine, the halo is spliced to it fine. But just no worky. The halo has a small little white connector with male and female ends that connect the splice wires to a little black box that I think has a fuse or a relay in it. Since the halo has LED bulb/s I do not think it's that. I think it has to do with that small black box. Any ideas
