another vote for brent's idea.

I had the same thing a while back. I bought a set of new tires for the stock salad shooters, and a few months later I wanted wheels. So I bought 17X11 zr1's, and sold the salad shooters with NEW tires on ebay a few months after I got the tires, they went for like $400 beans. Or, just wait till next year when your pretty much done with your tread, or the end of summer, depends how you drive.

Wait for the 17's, they are definetly worth it. The extra inch is a big deal because it will look ALOT nicer with the low profile tires, instead of the "bubbly" tires for the 16" wheels.

17" zr1's wrapped in 315's, I have a eibach pro kit on the way to lower it a bit.

IMO, 17" wheels on an otherwise stock looking Camaro look damn good. But, ground effects on a Camaro with stock 16" wheels doesn't look nearly as good and can sometimes look a bit out of place. Soooo, with that in mind, depending on the timeframe needed for the extra savings of cashola, you might want to consider getting the 17" wheels FIRST and then saving for the ground effects kit

How about 18's? You can get Eagle 077's for around 500-550, and they can make a world of difference in appearance. I know alot of people run them, but they are cheap, the polished version looks really good, and are pretty good quality for what you pay for.
