I am not even going to touch the mexican comment, but I agree that it was racist.
Where the hell is the engine? It looks like it's practically sitting between the driver and passenger!

The Aztek would sell like crack, if it actually looked like that from the factory.... (but unfortunately it doesn't does it)

That is good custom work, whoever did it.

I always liked the Aztek. I don't see what all the hub-bub is all about. And yes that is a sweet custom job
It's like in highschool, you know, the plain girl that looked strange and everyone made fun of? Suddenly after graduation she blossoms and turns hot and makes you all wish you would have paid more attention.

So, from that pic you can tell its an 8? PLease tell how. I can only see 3 coilpacks on the one side, the front of the engine is under the dashboard, and you can see where the firewall is if you look at the master cylinder. It dosent look anything like an LS1 intake. It may be an 8, but it sure as hell dosent look like it in that pic.

The engine is an LS1... I'm looking at a picture of the front of an LS1 engine in the Chris Endres book, and comparing it to the Aztec picture, the front accessory mounting bracket and serpentine belt routing of the LS1 is identical to the engine in that Aztec. Every bolt, every cutout, every connection. That is a custom dual TB aluminum sheet metal intake.

The car is still ugly as sin, and represents what has to be the worst aspects of the current (I'll say it if no one els will) "ricer" design look. JMHO.

I will just say - that is infinite times better than the original Aztec - but I still have other prefereble designs.

With the suspension slightly raised and a more reasonable wheel/tire combo, that would have been a great Crossover to compete with the Infiinity FX45.
