noob rim question
I did a search but if i missed the thread just point it out to me. When i bought my z28 it had eagle alloy 77 on it. The wheels are slightly discolored. Some of the wheel is shiny and polished looking, but there are duller areas that look like its from some sort of liqued as it has drip lines and splotches like from a liquid. I cant seem to get rid of them. I have only used mild soap on them. Whats the problem? Can i fix it?
Thankyou for any help

Buy a Buff wheel and some white rouge compound hook it to a drill and buff away. I had the same prob on my exhaust tips and it polished them back to a mirror like finish
EDIT: I still don't know what that stuff was I guess it was just old water stains

Well sometimes idiots use to strong of a degreaser or somthing like that and they let it set on there without diluting it and where the cleaner sorta dripped down the wheel or where it sat the longest it discolored the wheel, in other words they didnt rinse it off quick enough, thats just what i've learned from personal experience
