new pilot foglights

well i bought these fog lights and they have 7 led colors in them so theres a wire that should be connected to a switched power source which in this case would be the parking lights or dash lights etc.. but the thing is if i connect that wire to a fuse will it work will it burnout.

if not can someone tell me how to connect the wire

thanks Frank

Hard to give you specifics without knowing basic info, like the year and model of your car. Might want to add a "signature" with that info.

Generally, for high amp loads like fog lights, you run the main 12V wire, with the correct size fuse in it, directly from the positive on the battery. That wire passes through a relay, that is operated by another wire from the switch you want to turn on the fog lights. That's called the signal wire.

Did the lights come with any sort of wiring, fuse, relay, etc.?
