Just cuz it came from a Porsche doesn't make it look any better!

 

The porsche hood is ugly and so is the camaro hood. Do people do this just to be different or do they actually think it looks good

 

I thought it might look alright when i saw it on the thread a while ago, but seeing it on the car, I really don't like the way it looks.

 

How in gods name do you figure that?





Just because it has heat extractors? In that case it looks like every other race car out there including the C6R

 

Go look at the rest of his car, that should answer your question.

 

I think whoever created that hood missed the mark for the Camaro. The Camaros lines especially LT1's make it hard to do anything really exotic. That hood would look great on certain cars but as it is it doesnt match up well with the Camaro. If you like that style and had the money to have it custom made I'd move the extractor back some, away from the scoop then straighten them out some instead of having them at a angle. I still look foward to how the complete project will look. He may just pull it off and everything match up or he could miss terribly.

ditto. Its bad enough that the LS1 hood looks like a chrysler concord...but man that tops the cake. I saw something about a viper diamondback version (2 different snakes in one car evidently), which had that hood. Looks more natural on the viper.

 

Your point was made allready. Though I do feel he brings this on himself judging from the title why not give it a rest and show some board etiquette and respect to the member regardless.
