Question Need Some Advice On Z06 Wheels

ok i have a 94 z white with black top and mirrors and hugger orange 30th anniversary stripes. im getting 18x9.5 Z06 rims all the way around. do yall think i should get chrome or the charcoal oem style color? ive seen tons of chrome z06s but i think the charcoal oem color would look killer on a white z w/black top.

also it would need to be lowered to look good. what springs will make the car low enough to look good with 18s all the way around (no gfx) without being tooooo low?

Actually I'm considering buying the same thing. Where did you see the set you want to buy? I found a few sets on ebay with tires that could turn out to be a good deal. But I'm really not sure and I hope they don't go too high because I don't really know how much money I want to put into rims.

With white, the charcoal might look good. Chrome is always classic, but you may want to be different.

Where are you looking to buy your set?

And has anyone bought anything from AFS wheels?

Thanks,
Mark

www.customwheelsmarket.com

they have 18x9.5 dark silver z06s for 235 each! you cant beat that. afs is pretty good, for 4 18x9.5 chrome wheels with kumho tires its 2k shipped, but i think it would be much cheaper buying these silver wheels then getting some kumhos and i would have money left over for some lowering springs. i saw the charcoal wheels somewhere but i cant find them now ahhh! if anyone else finds the charcoal z06 wheels let me know please!

I say chrome, but I don't think you could go wrong with either choice

I'm going to go with the polished and clearcoated 18" ZO6 wheels all the way around. I think chrome looks good but is too flashy. I already have DMS springs. Just waiting on some new shocks and the LS1 brake upgrade before I install them. I hope nothing rubs.

OEM they don't come chrome or charcoal, they only come in the silver. any chrome or charcoal is replica. the Z06 rims I got (18x9.5) are in chrome and I got them from a guy whose business name is Godsil Performance (new business by the way). He sold those to me with chrome lug nuts, valve stem, free shipping, and everything for $1099. He lives in Oregon I think, so sihpped to VA would be a big amount but he didn't care. If you want, PM me and I'll send you his address or email me at Smit9@allstate.com. Personally, I'd go with chrome (b/c personally, that is what I did)
