Need Pics Of Mounting Locations Of Neons In Footwells Please.
I bought 2 10" Street Glow Neons the other day and want to put them in the Drivers and Passengers side footwells. I've seen and talked to a couple people that have them, but I would like to see some pics of exactly where they have them mounted. I don't want to be able to see the neons themselves, just the blue glow. Thanks for any and all help.

honestly...if it were me and I liked neons and were going to put them under my dash...I'd just find a good place to stick them and zip tie them real good up there. That's pretty much it. I'm not thinking it would take a whole lot of instruction....just 5 minutes and some zip ties.

Here is a pic of someones car on the board that they sent me awhile back (forgot who it was sorry). This is the look that I want and was wondering where exactly I could mount them to get this look? Aircop40 has the purple neons mounted like this too. I just like this look better. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Ok I just looked in my car and I would have to say mount it on the firewall where the bottom of the dash and firewall meet
on the passanger side
on the driver side just try and see where you can fit it where the tube won't interfere with your pedals

i have blue neons under my passenger's side dash - i'm about to add them under the driver's dash and under the 2 front seats to illuminate the back.
here's a shot of the tube and mount during the day: http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...71_12_full.jpg

PS - the passenger dash's neon tube is very visible, and when i get my others, i'm mounting them a lot farther back - i suggest making the tube invisible by mounting them wayyyy back, cuz it looks kinda tacky when you can see the whole tube.

Thanks for the help. It's very appreciated. I just went out and looked again and it looks like on the passengers side you can mount it ALL the way to the back of the footwell. It will actually sit right against the covering for the firewall. It will sit on a bit of an angle towards the drivers side, but it'll hide the neon and be out of the way. The angle isn't much at all, so it looks like it will still light up the footwell with no problem. I'm still trying to figure out the drivers side though.

This is how my license plate neons look in my car under the seats. Just giving you another perspective of mounting locations. I would do the front footwell also if I had single tubes and not the licence plates. GL,

Hmm. I kinda like the look of the license plate neons under the seats. I might have to get a couple of those to light up the back a little. Also, I ended up getting the neon tubes mounted in the footwell today. I am very happy with the way that they turned out. A nice mild glow and you can't see the tubes themselves. I'll have to snap some pics and let you guys check them out. Thanks for the help and input.
