Unhappy Need interior help

I've seen a lot of "smoothed" dashes and door panels and really like the look. Exactlly how do I smooth something. Also, does anyone have any good advice on how to learn the basics of fiberglass and upholstry?

honestly i have not clue how everyone does it but here a couple i deas on how it could be done. The first thing i would do it to get some kind of degreasing type cleaner and clean the hell out of any part that your trying to smooth thats ever been armoralled. then either sand that part down till its not neccesarily smoth but not bumpy. then throw on some layers of primer filler. sand the primer till its smooth and have it painted.
