Need Ideas...

I got a 1997 Black Camaro RS, It's got the full ground effects kit and with a paintjob, the car would look absolutely SHARP!!!

It's hard to modify appearance that already looks good, so thats why I'm here. I'm asking what would look good on a 1997 Camaro RS with the LT1 front end and an already modified spoiler (RS style).

I WOULD like to change the hood but I don't know which ones to go with. I don't mind the LT1 hood and alot of aftermarket hoods look IMHO. However any links to pictures of hoods and the way they'll look on my car will be great! Also how would silver or teal stripes look? If it isn't to harsh for anyone, can that be photoshopped with a different hood?

What should I go with for a spoler? seeing as I already have a GFX Kit.. Should I even change it? How would a Super Sport Spoiler with the deflector on it look?

Can anyone photoshop that?

How about interior? I was thinking about replacing the speaker covers with chrome wiring that will fit the same area. Can that be done?

project camaros hood looks good.... not too many LT1s can pull off an outlaw cowl hood and still look decent, his runs well with the car, maybe its the color i personally think you should leave it stock, with a nice set of ralley stripes... an RS isnt exactly the sports car a Z28 is, so its looks are only screwed up more trying to make it look like something its not... leave it stock, the RS ground effects look nice on that car, im getting a set for mine actually make the paint stand out... not the performance aspect.... leave it quiet, make it run good... do things to make it faster but for GODS SAKE LEAVE IT QUIET!!!! there is nothing more irritating than hearing a ricer come up next to you... looking over... and seeing a camaro sittin there.... make it a nice car with moderate get up... and eye candy JMHO

VFN Cowl.
Example.
And generally, IMO, black 4th Gen.'s don't do stripes that good. If you are really wanting stripes though - then go with the silver out of those 2 choices.

SS Spoiler with deflector = UGLY! UGLY! UGLY!
Keep what you got - it looks good with the RS Kit IMO.

Chrome on the interior USUALLY looks cheap. Not in all cases though. I think, in this case, it would look cheap.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. What would look like a good quality job for our Interiors?... it's a 97 + interior style..(2nd - 4th gen style)

Re: Need Ideas...

how about..... STOCK! lol those cars arent really "spruced up" for mods.... like older cars, you can get nice aftermarket door panels, and chrome bezeled guages, and chances are your going to have to replace the stock speakers, and do some fabrication to make new ones fit, so you can do what you want with those as well... these cars? they look best original, and spotless...... if there is a part lookin shabby, replace it... other than that? dont mess with it.... one thing i know is real popular with these 4th gens, is to paint the interior pieces (power window/lock console, dash guage insert, floor console trim, etc...) body color.... but... its hard to do, and looks cheap most of the time.... not to mention you will have to be REAL careful from then on with how you treat them, as they will wear or scratch up real easily... my suggestion if you wanted to paint your trim, would be to send it to a paintshop and have them do it, that way its got warrenty, and its done with top quality paint, and clearcoat... and not some "duplicolor" bull sh*t from kragen that will eat up like crazy in 6 months.... hood looks good though, and if you wanna do stripes, do black, red, silver, dark grey, blue, orange, yellow, or even a nice crimson or maroon.... but teal? i guess it would look cool, but i dont think you would get the attention you wanted.... seeing something "different" isnt ALWAYS what you want.... the idea has to flow well with the rest of the car for it to fly... i just dont see teal stripes as being catchy.... more tacky than anything.... my opinion? white, silver, or red... blue if you want to be less conspicuous about it...
