There are two different ones for these years: LT1's (1993 thru 1997) & LS1's (1998 thru 2002).
So you need the one that fits 1993-1997. As "SS's" were only built in 96 & 97, some may only advertize those years, but will fit the 93-95's.
Also there are "street" hoods and "race" hoods. Street hoods will have all the mount holes and brackets for the hinges and latches, and are heavier.
Also if you want the scoop to be functional, you'll need to buy the filter housing, etc. to go with it.

Sorry, mine came with the car. I do know there are several manufactures, so you'll just have to surf. I'd start with E-Bay. Here's just a couple:

This one is setup for the 98+ style intake. Filter forward near the radiator.

This one has the original SLP style intake. Filter aft near the firewall.

Couple different places to look. I'm in the market for the same hood.

Anybody vouch for the quality of either of these places?

I got mine from suncoast creations. The only thing good about it was that it was the cheepest you could by at the time. The next cheepest hood was only about $50 more than mine, and after the bad quality, and all the work my body shop had to do to fix the hood and make it fit I would reccomend ANYWHERE but there (I think they are out of buisness anyways).

Either way its cheeper to go aftermarket than go with an OEM GM SS hood, unless you find one at a junkyard or something for cheep.

I got one of their WS6 ram air hoods off of them. It fits like a typical fiberglass hood. If i was to do it again, i'd just pay out the extra money and get a OEM hood.

stay away from the rksport hoods, they're cheap imitations.

American Sports Car design, Suncoast Creations, and SLP are way better in the quality department. You probably want to make sure that it is functional as well, I believe the rksport isn't a fully functional ram air hood. I can vouch for the ASCD hood because I have one, it's really close to being oem, you can't tell other than the American Sports Car Design logo underneath the hood it's also lighter than the oem ss hood. I may possibly be selling it in the future, Just not sure of shipping

I was quoted over $1,000 for a oem GM ss hood, so yeah....
