hood question

hood question

ok im getting a 2000 z28 and i cant stand stock hoods. dont like ss or the ram air hoods. i like the cowl hoods. the only ones ive seen are the harwood that summit sells. does anyone have pics of a cowl hood on an ls1 maro? thanks

cowl hoods go hard on LS1's. check out ASCD's site. they have a 2.5" cowl

2.5" not enough for me. 3-4" would be good.

i just checked ascd's web site. not bad. does anyone know where i can get a 4" cowl hood. ive got one on my 91 and i love the look and the blind spot. thanks again

VFN fiberglass makes a cowl hood... they are local as well, in addison illinois right off addison rd, so you can pick it up. their website is www.vfnfiberglass.com you can check it out there. I think the price is right around 425 bucks

cool thanks, thats just what i needed. i also found one for $389 in plainfeild, um do you know where that is polo-94z28? im in hoffman estates. thanks again

Plainfield is south of you and i... id estimate about a 40 mile trip for you, its 20 miles south for me, you can take route 59 south it runs right into it...

Joliet is about 10 miles farther south of plainfield... and a tad more torwards the east.
