Fitment of SS hood

I bought a fiberglass ss hood locally for a good price. However, I installed it and I can't seem to get it to close and/or fit right. It's hitting my alternator. If I can get the hood to move to the left more it should fit perfect. Is there a trick to doing this? I've tried and just got frustrated. It seems like the the front should move left more and the back move to the right. Like the whole thing needs to rotate clockwise a lil, but I'm having a hard time doing so unless I make new or bigger holes. What do you think?

I had to elongate the holes in my hinges. I have a whole thread with pictures somewhere. You need a round file and patience. Also, those rubber stops on the fenders and in front of the core support screw up and down in case you need vertical adjustments. It seems impossible at first but after a few attempts both of my aftermarket hoods fit well but hitting the alternator was never an issue with mine.

I had trouble Ajusting mine too, join the club. I pissed around for a few days but I finnally got it. I bought some fender shims to bring in the passenger side fender a little, Ajusted the latch, wound down the rubber stops, and moved the piece that the latch mounts to, to get the front to line up, it didn't come out perfect but it did turn out pretty damn good. Patience and trial and error, Good luck
