Have any of u ever seen tail lights that have black lines through them? I was told by another camaro owner that they haven't seen them before. They came on my car when I bought it. But now im having to replace the lense on the drivers side. The lines aren't on the lens though. It looks like they are part of the unit that the lens attaches to. I have a leaking lens so I want to replace that lens and reseal it. I know if I try to pull the lens off im gonna crack it all to heck. Its brittle from sun light and heat. So can I buy the lens somewhere? I've looked and found nadda. All help appreciated.

i've seen them mostly on formula's and t/a's try a junkyard maybe, but they look pretty stock to me

 

That's what I thought too. I've seen at least a couple of cars with them. Im hoping for the lens, not an entire unit. Is there a company that sells just a lens? I doubt it but u never know what someone else has come accross. Thanx for the info, and any other info would be appreciated

 

Totally stock, 93-97 on all the V8 models.

If it's anything like a Camaro tail lamp, I think you'll be surprised to find just how lightweight that piece is and you're almost definitely going to need the entire tail lamp.
