My SS hood to flimsy

My SS hood to flimsy
So my bodyshop told me that my SS bolt on hood is too flimsy. He told me that it's really light and it's possible that it may come off if you're gunning it on the highway. I don't like hood pins on my hood (Looks too tacky) Is there a way to avoid the hood pins?
