My new LED Cargo Light. Inspired by InfiniteReality
Re: My new LED Cargo Light. Inspired by InfiniteReality
Hey Bud!
Are you working with the admins to be able to sell these here? I kinda missed the middle part of this where it almost looks like people are wanting to buy these. Don't forget that you have to be a supporting vendor to sell items like this. Thanks!

It originally just started as a “hey check this out”. Then people asked me to build them for them so that is what it has turned into. The "How To" is on my website. By no means do I or have I intended to circumvent the supporting vendors rules. Since I am not a business, and I am just building these on request I was not sure how exactly that worked out. The page on my website labeled "For Sale" states that if someone did not want to do it themselves that I could do it for them. I am not making a much of a profit at all if you consider the time, money, shipping, and materials involved. In fact if you consider the time involved I should be in a negative profit. None of the other supporting vendors even provide such a modification and this is why I was not sure if it was a problem.
My PRIMARY objective with showing people this modification is to show that that it can be done. I will include a complete list of instructions so they can do it themselves if they so chose. If not they can give me a shout, and I can do it for them. Again if I have broken any rules I have no intentions of doing so. If you want please contact me via PM, or e-mail to discuss this more.

Yes, I know this wasn't intentional. Just needed to mention it.
Also, profit or lack of profit doesn't matter. The rules are set very basic to ensure no confusion
Thanks!

Here is a drawing of the bracket i made.

The green part is the LED board. If you cut a square just big enough for the bulbs to fit through you can have the edges of the LED panel to hold it in.

The red setup has 20 20,000mcd LED's per side in the map light and the cargo light will have 45 20,000mcd LED's
The white setup NORMALLY has 12 26,000mcd LED's per side in the map lights, and 24 26,000mcd LED's in the cargo light. The fewer LED's is due to the fact that it is not only white light but they are brighter LED's.
Now if you want you can upgrade the White LED setup to contain 18 26,000mcd LED's in the Map Lights and either 36 or 45 or 54 26,000mcd LED's in the cargo light. This would cost more if you wanted me to build it because White LED's cost more.
