No, 4th gens are way too modern looking for mudflaps, maybe on an older one it'd look ok. What would you rather have, some small paint chips or big mud flaps sticking out behind all the wheels? You might as well put a bra on it if you're worried about the paint. Drive it, keep it looking good, and you can always get it repainted down the road if necessary.

And I would have guessed it was the above ATTITUDE that brought stereotypes upon us.

Mudflaps don't equal redneck.
Closeminded, bullheadish inbreeding does. So stop acting the part.

I couldn't have said it better myself. It's this (as ya put it) closeminded bullhead always seems to be the negative one when it comes to custom mods.

Re: Mudflaps or not??

I'm a closeminded bullhead because mudflaps are redneck? It's not my fault they are redneck. I'm just letting you know. It's a freakin' Camaro for crying out loud, not an 18 wheeler or a truck. I'm just old fashioned I guess and I like sports cars being sports cars. I apologize for not wanting a sports car to be turned into a mullet mobile. Get over it. I'm not here to start up a conspiracy or anything. I'm nowhere near closeminded and just as you have your opinions, I have mine.

I really hate when guys like you get pissed because somebody else has an opinion. And by the way, if I didn't mention, mudflaps on a Camaro are for rednecks. Mudflaps on a sports car are for rednecks. It's not my attitude that brought the idiot redneck stereotypes on F-Body drivers...it's the idiot redneck F-Body drivers themselves. Hopefully the rest of us can fix that stereotype that you so ignorantly display.

Oh and if you have some pics of your nice, sharp, and elegant mudflaps, then please post some pics...I need some humor for tonight.

No, but what is your fault, is that you joined a thread to give your UNWANTED input.
And then, over and over again, you state they are redneck, and mullet making material -why? Because YOU, oh so high and mighty, have SAID they are. You have placed yourself on the grand council of what-should-never-be-on-someone-else's-car, and made the judgement. Made it without care that others may choose to feel differently, or have put one issue (such as care for their paint) before another.

Again, YOU don't want this car, that car, or any other car to be anything other than what YOU feel it should be. How about you try to only put positive influence into threads for a while? How about you accept that YOUR OPINION means NOTHING to anyone but YOU?

You hate it when others have an opinion, yet can not state your opinion clearly without putting others down. You could have popped in, said "Meh, I don't like it", or "Nah, I wouldn't do that", but instead opt to say "No way mulletheads! Don't do that you dumb rednecks!" Spare us.

And I'm working VERY hard to fix the stereotypes that YOU negatively display about F-Bodys. Immaturity, closemindedness, RUDENESS, pompousness, arrogance, bad manners... shall I keep going, you've shown a lot of your bad side -it seems too much to list them all.

The bottom line is, until you BUY my car from me, its mine. To do with as *I* see fit.

Constructive criticism and lively debate should ALWAYS welcomed. Berated down-talk, and name calling should NOT ever be welcomed.

Good day.

Is something wrong with you, seriously? You said I went on and on. I made a one sentence post. And of course I am going to defend myself when you came back at me. What did you expect? I don't think I'm better than anyone nor did I ever put myself on a "grand council". You freaked out over nothing. If you don't like my input, then deal with it. I'm not being immature and I'm not being pompous. You are just being silly. Don't get your panties in such a wad over little internet nothings. If I'm on my "grand council", then you Sir must be the "oh so mighty Internet Warrior", defender of the people. You are such a hypocrite. You are calling me closeminded and saying that I think I am always right or whatever. You are doing the exact same thing. You think you are the right one and that you have the right answers. If you hate name calling so much, then you can stop while you are at it. And all of a sudden, my posts are not wanted? This is a freakin' message board you idiot. In every thread, you are gonna have people who agree and disagree. It's just a fact, and until you can get a grip on reality and stop being such a bitch over nothing, then you should just stop posting. Stop the crying, stop the complaining, and realize that your perfect internet world does not exist. If you want to think I'm rude or arrogant, that's your problem...I know who I am, and if some moron from another state over the Internet thinks badly about me, it's not going to ruin my day. So chill out and stop posting more hypocritical BS. You can get off your "grand council" throne as well.

Good Day...

P.S. I apologize to the original poster. Didn't mean to hijack your thread. Wasn't my intention at all. I was hoping my comment would steer you away from getting mudflaps, but apparently, some people on here can't accept the fact that opinions exist.
