Re: modified hockey stripe??

so nobody has any ideas on how this would look or to make a chop of it?? ill have to do a rough chop sometime then i guess. id love to actually have it done, but the way it would go over the rear fender to line up with the filler panel in the rear concerns me a bit because it would have to drop back down afterwards.

Naaaaah, I don't like it. Looks like your car has a chinstrap beard. Even if somebody did a quality photoshop of it, with or without the chinstrap part, I don't think it would look good.

Re: modified hockey stripe??

im not liking it all that much either, but i have to get that front lip peice repainted anyways because it rubbed a month ago and is chipping horribly, i figured id just wrap it with the rest of the stripe then run it into the berger panel.. i just cant find a way to do it and make it look good.. now maybe in a light silver or charcoal, but that would throw off my entire color scheme =/.. any ideas or should i just go with the lt1 hockey stripe? cause i love it :P

Please, don't do that to your car!

Re: modified hockey stripe??

Look at these, a couple actually go all the way to the back. Personally I don't like the style you have posted above, it doesn't fit the body in my opinion.

http://www.3rdgendecals.com/HockeySticks.htm

If you want a stripe that goes around the whole car, why not try a second or third gen style. The third gens had one that went all the way around the very bottom of the body. I can't find a pic as of right now but I'll post it when I do.

Re: modified hockey stripe??

ive seen the third-gen stripe a thousand times, every car other around here is a third gen . what im looking for is something to tie in the berger panel more than anything, and since the front has to be repainted anyways id like to wrap it around with that too.

Re: modified hockey stripe??

how bout these side stripes on the yenko? no wierd curves or body line problems. Could easily be adapted to wrap around with a berger panel.
