THis migh tbe an odd question...

Well i dont know why but this makes the car look horrible to me.... the big void of gray behind my wheels. Everyone elses ride i see are nice and black back there. Should i pull the wheels off and spray paint it black in there or something? Maybe im just crazy and think everyone elses is darker.. that or my wheels dont take up enough space.

You could throw a fresh coat of rubberized undercoating in there and it would be nice and black. The thing is, that since your car is black and the dirt and other crud that splashes up inside your wheel wells isn't...it's all going to look much lighter in color than on anybody else's car.
I don't think there's much you can do that's going to have a lasting effect other than staying out of the rain. That's the only way you'll keep it nice and dark inside there.

X2.....the color does have alot to do with it. You can paint it, but if you live in a rainy/wet weather type place, you'll find yourself painting them every 3-4 months. I live in a dry place in TX. So for me every 6-7 months will do.

Mine have always stayed pretty dark

I just wash them real well, but they definitely aren't black either. I'd probably suggest Rhino Liner if you want them black and to last. That's the stuff they put in truck beds.

The rubber undercoating is a very good idea. Just tape off what you don't want sprayed and go to town with it.

I try to pressure wash it every time I wash the car...

Would Back to Black work? You'd ahve to reapply it frequently, but would be good for shows.
