Manual Fan Switch installed, and pics of updated interior

Ok I posted some pics here not to long ago. I did think that my interior had to much aluminum color. So I painted the whole center console along with the plastic part that surrounds the radio with high gloss black. Also gloss black are the areas right around the door handles. And the panel around the window and door buttons changed to aluminum.

The manual fan switch that was up on a GP here for $27 also got installed. And I bought the silver HVAC and Light panel overlays from here:

The camera isn't the best but you get the idea. And yes I know the Dash mat has to go, but that plastic piece under the window is broken and I can't find another intact. So for now the mat stays.

Thanks

Looks pretty good, I like the HVAC/Headlight overlays. Do you have any pictures of your car when it had "too much aluminum" as you said you we can compare before/after?

Looks good.

How well does it work?

If you're driving on the highway do you need to manually control them still - or do you just put the switch in the center and let the stock programming take over?

When you're sitting still or driving slow in traffic, do you leave it on high all the time - or will that cool it down too much?

When do you use the low setting?

I just got mine (crappy picture) installed too. I love it... and so far I have seen no need whatsoever for the high-speed fan. The low-speed setting is more than enough to keep it cool while sitting in traffic... but if I let it warm up a ways and turn it on high I can watch the gauge go down And yea, the middle position is PCM settings... when I turn the A/C on the low speed fan light comes on.

edit: ive also glued the bulbs in place now, looks a lot neater than in the pic.

Yepp like Joelius said, it works great. A very good $27 investment. But where I put it and with my non mechanical skills, it was a PITA. But I like it. You can see the needle go down when its hot. With the 160 thermo though, it does not go past the half way mark in my car.

I erased the before pics. But trust me, it looks much better
