lt1 VS ls1 trans am door panels

is the only major difference the material used? I have a 1995 Z28 with charcoal/ebony leather interior and Im wanting a set of T/A door panels to match. would i get a closer match going with T/A door panels from an LT1 rather than from an ls1? I did notice that the LS1 door panels that are leather have the 'dimpled' leather. Im not wanting that. Im wanting the 'smooth' leather to match the interior of my 1995 Z28.

thanks.

I don't think ebony is an interior choice for a 95 Z28. You probably have graphite. I suggest you look in your glove box at the RPO codes and find out what color your car actually is. I've learned first hand that no body knows exactly what color their interior is. I believe the LS1 door panels are the same as the LT1 door panels. My TA door panels are off a 93TA and they have the dimples you are talking about. The same thing with my buddys car which has door panels off an LS1 car. I did own one set of TA door panels that didn't have the dimples and they were on a set of TA door panels that didn't have the tweeter option. So maybe cars with out Tweeters didn't have the dimpled leather, but the TA door panels with out Tweeters don't look as good. By the way if you have graphite colored interior it will show up on your RPO code as 12I.
