i think the 93-96 look way better. alot of people must also. why would anyone buy clear corners to get rid of that ugly yellow color light just to have it on the taillights.

hey man if you still have the LT1 lights I will buy them off you, if they are for sale of course. I can also even exchange you for some LS1s if you need them for whatever reason.

I hate the LS1 style with the amber. The LT1 looks much cleaner and flows with that line on the trunk lid

Re: LT1 or LS1 tail lights?

Something I didn't go into much detail on earlier - it depends on the car color for me. (I just said "On Black...")

Red - 93-96.
Silver - 93-96.
Teal/Blues - 93-96.
PPM - 93-96.
Pewter - 93-96.
NBM - Either/leaning toward 93-96.
Polo Green Met. - Either/leaning toward 97+.
SOM - 97+.
Black - 97+.
White - 97+.

anyone have a pair of 97 and up tailights they'd like to trade. I have a teal camaro and i think the amber lens looks better on my color car.

Re: LT1 or LS1 tail lights?

I used to prefer the 97+, but i think i'm glad i didn't decide to convert to the newer type's, at night the lines of the lights is much better.

Dont get me wrong,If i had a LS1 SS I guess i would keep it as is as well.

If you really want a set I'll sell you mine. If you have a '97 or up I'll even sell you the wiring harness that's needed for the LT1 lights.
