if so why doesnt any one ever polish it? ive seen polished fuel rails but never an intake

 

Might want to try a search on "Appearance".... as I recall, someone had a thread there recently on polishing the intake. I've seen it done a few times.

I'll move the thread to "Appearance", because its not exactly "Engine Tech"......

 

it can be done. i have pics of my friend johns car if u would like to see pics. he has pretty much everything polished under the hood!

I think the intakes look better painted with the fins left unpainted.
