LT1 Gauge Pod Question

Hey everyone.

I heard that the Autometer Triple gauge pillar designed for the Camaro does not actually fit in LT1 (1993-1997) Z28s. Is this true? I have a 1994 Camaro Z28 with T-Tops and I would like to switch to the triple gauge pillar because it would look cleaner and my wires wouldn't show. If the autometer one doesn't work, are there any full guage pillars that do? thanx for the help.

The 3-pod full pillar WON'T fit '93-'96.

The 3rd pod hits the dash, the part with the left A/C vent.

I hacked it up and basically made it a regular 3-gauge pod...

Hopefully someone will make a full pillar that fits our cars soon!

Let me know how the fiberglassing works out!

And no, it won't fit stock on any cars pre '97. You'll have to chop it up.

The dash on the TA hasn't changed, why are you saying it wouldn't fit. Drives me nuts when people state something as a fact when they are wrong

Should have specified Camaro-only since that's what the poster wanted to know about. If it does work on T/As, that is good to know!
