Ah, might not be such a good deal after the sale is over. One would be better off buying the material at a fabric store.

One thing about finding your own material is that you should make sure it is UV resistant, or something along those lines. If the fabric you buy was intended for use in making boots or clothes or something, it'll likely fade.

That's why a lot of hotrodders use marine grade leather, because the material is made for boats that get a ton of sunlight over the years.
