Interior mod: table for front passenger

I saw these tonight and thought... WOW!

I haven't seen anything like them before. Anybody have any more pics?

I wonder if thats removable. That can't be safe for the passanger in a collision.

I bet it's removable. It doesn't look particularly great, but I've never seen it before, so I thought it was worth a topic.

And who says a f-body can't be a comfortable daily driver.

Do you think it might be a replacement glovebox door?

Where'd the pic come from? Lord knows my Z could use another cup holder. The 'only' one in the console just doesn't get it done.

I dont care for it. The only real purpose would be to have it for a passenger while driving and that is not going to be safe in a collision. Its right in the path of the airbag.

I got the pics from the company that makes the Japanese bodykits for Camaros. I can't read Japanese, but once you get into the site, it is the third selection on the Camaro Products navigation on the left.

My '95 Z28 has two drink holders that go between the backseat. I haven't seen another kit like it, but I think we got it back in 1997 at Target, and it's a perfect fit. Wish I could find another just like it. It's literally a perfect fit... I'll take a picture of it when my sister brings the car home...

To me it looks unsafe and cluttered, like an 80's full size van. Even if its removable where are you going to stash that big piece? I would hate my passenger to eat inside my car anyway lol

Here are the pictures I promised. Not exactly a factory fit, but well, since our interiors aren't perfect anyway, it fits in just fine! It doesn't move an inch.

If only I could find them still...

What's holding them on? Looks like it's just sitting there.

Please place your tray tables and seat backs in the upright position.
