On the intake I would say to stay away from red, you'll be expected to have an LT4. Theres a pic in my sig of mine, its black. I did silver the first time and I think i'll go back to that next time it comes off. Black or red covers would go fine with the black manifold.

Personally, I would lean towards a red powdercoated intake manifold and black powdercoated valve covers. Just a thought, but maybe someone could play around with some different color combinations in Photoshop (if it is possible) and that way you can get a feel for what your likes/dislikes are.

a red intake manifold would definately look sweet, but you wouldnt want people thinking that they smoked an lt4.. so in that case id say go with black, blue would look cool too. You can do matching or contrasting valve covers, either would look nice. just my .02

Why whole engine is Black with a aluminum intake and the valve covers have the etching done in natural aluminum colour..

Alot of people say it looks "mean" in those colors because you know that something is done to it,there's no chrome to make it "obvious" as they say.

I would have my Intake Polished, and those lines on top powdercoated gloss black to go with my silver & black theme. As for Valve covers I would probably take smooth aluminum ones with red bowties on the top, and smoothed & filled corvette fuel rail covers (that say nothing on it).
