need a shifter boot for my 6 speed 96 ws6 and founs a 00 trans am 6 speed, are they the same?

i'm pretty sure the plastic rings are different. The vinyl might be the same but the rings are gonna be different. You can swap them out if you'd like.

They are 100% different . Only way to swap out would be to use the complete 97-02 center console , which will swap right into your 96 .
