I just bought some clear corner lenses for my 98 SS but i can't get the old ones out.... There is a peice of metal that i think connects the nose to the car, which is blocking me from getting the stock lense out. Does anyone know how to get them out???

 

Assuming 98+ is the same as 93-97 camaro's then you just jack up the car and remove the black plastic panels that are underneathe the bumper. They are right under the turnsignal area. If you don't know where i'm talking about find a guide on installing a CAI in a 93-97 car. It will show you the panel you need to remove.

 

Hey this is easy if you take out the headlights first, if you leave them in it becomes a pain in the ***. The headlight assembly comes out with one bolt 10mm I think. Once you got that out you have three screws to take out 2 on top and one on bottom I believe, it has been since last summer since I did one so forgive me if I say something wrong. Unhook your bulbs and your done removing, install is just the opposite. It is a piece of cake once you figure out what you are doing.

 

you really have to yank on them to get them out. i thought i was going to break mine because i had to pull so hard. they are in there really good at a really odd angle. dont give up!

 

Last time I replaced my turnsignal bulbs I had removed the whole bumper, so that's the hardcore way to replace them.

 

Don't yank them out, you will crack the lens. You can carefully pry them off by moving the bumper just a little bit and pulling the light out.

 

If you have to pry them out then youre doing something wrong. Its attatched with 3 screws then you just lift it up then take it out, very easy to do.
