hey, i've noiced that some people have painted the rings that fit in the dash and around the air vents, i think it's a great idea but i can't figure out out to remove then, who can tell me? Do they just pry out with a screw driver? Is it a PIA?

 

The one on the driver's side just pops out. As for the others...I"m not sure they do because I broke one of mine trying to get it out .

from what I gather, there are little clasps behind the center slot...
and you have to use a little pick to pull it forward...
