how can I clean my MBA shift knob???

how can I clean my MBA shift ****???

I have an MBA billet aluminum shift know that is anodized black and has "Z28" engraved in it....
The "z28" part looks like it is getting discolor with oxidation or something....
how can i Clean this???

I'm getting that too in the "8" part of the Z28 on mine (exact same shift ****). Looks like theres just a little dirt or something in the grooves. I'd like to know what others have done to clean it up as well.

Mothers Bullet Alm. Cleaner then a SOFT Tooth bursh to get it out of the lettering.

any normal household cleaners??? i don't feel like buying something JUST to clean that itself... if i had a LOT of aluminum i would buy it in a heart beat, but that's the only piece.....
