HID questions?

HID questions?
I would like to get a set of HID lights for my car. i hear they are better lighting and i love the blueish haze that they have instead of the normail yellow lights. I am purchasing clear corners for my car as well. my question is, do they make a kit with everything i want? i also would like bright hid foglights, and bluish corners to go w/ my clear corners. i don't know much about appearance mods, so it would help if someone could give me a list of everything that i will need to get hid headlights/brights, foglights and blueish corners. also, i did a search and they were talking about a kit that cost 370.00!! that is a lot of money, that i would rather spend on performance mods. there has to be a more budget oriented kit than that. thanks guys, sorry it was so long!!

Hey man,
Good news...you can put HID's on your car...it requires some tinkering, but can be done easily enough.
Bad news...$370 is a GOOD price.
Just a few notes, you will need to get a 9006 HID kit for the low beams...if you want to do your high beams as well, that would have to be a seprate kit, but I wouldn't worry with the high beams, because I don't see why you would need them. I don't use mine, EVER, and I just have Hyperwhite H/L bulbs and Hyperwhite (HID Simulated) Fog Lights...
If you wanted to do HID foglights as well, you would most likely have to get a separate pair of housings (such as the ones described in my guide in sig) which run a bulb that has an HID kit available for it. The bulbs in the kit I have on my car ar H3's, not sure if they make an HID kit for them or not, but it would have to be something like that.
To go all TRUE HID, you are looking at a lot on money, so that wouldn't have to be an option for you really.
I can give you more info on this if you are still interested...
And just a couple of quick notes on HID's...
There are different generations and different kelvin ratings on HID kits...some of them shine more bluish and some shine more purplish (some of this depends on the bulbs you get). You can see several different styles of these if you do a 9006 HID Kit search on e-Bay...

Yes, easily...
Just get some blue output 1157 Bulbs or some blue LED bulbs and put in there after you get the Clear Corner's...e-Bay is a good source for either of these. Just be forewarned, it is illegal, but so is 90% of the stuff that Rice-boys do...
The other guy that responded (pu12en12g) has hyperwhite DRL's, which is illegal, and I don't think he has had any prob's...
