Ok guys i have a purple 95 z28....and im want to do some stuff to it and im starting with catback..well ...i see the big thing this year is the quad tips(loudmouth, hooker) ...i was just wondering how these actually look in person ..or should i stick to the dual tips (magnaflow).
well im aslo tinting my windows..the back ones gonna be dark , and i was planning on lowering it ...so how dark and how low should i go.?
And To put an SS wing on or not to put an SS wing on is the question?

The exhaust tips is just a matter of personal preference. I'm thinkin about switching to the dual/dual look myself. The maganflow tips are nice though, and stainless so they wont rust out on you like cheap chrome tips from most exhaust shops will.

I dont know much about tinting, but as for lowering your car, if you ever plan on putting headers on it, I wouldnt go lower than 1.5" Our cars are already pretty low, and wiht the long front overhang, you will scrape goign over speedbumps and steep inclines. I'm thinkin about lowering mine an inch personally, but anything lower than stock is good!

And yes, do the SS wing.

 

Well since you live in Cali you know about the tint. I had 5 in the back and 15 in the front and got pulled over. Then i had 20 in the front and got pulled over again. i heard you could "legally" go 35 but id rather have them all 5%

as for lowering i have a 1.5 in drop with eibach pro kit. The sportlines drop it 2in. its up to you. I dont scrape that bad.

also as for tips its up to you i like my borla tips which you can buy even if you dont have borla. Summit racing has em.

Intrax is also an option for lowering your car. They lower about the same as the Sportlines but at a fraction of the cost.
