headlights

Hey guys, 2001 Z28 here. The head light lens are gross and we tried to clean em up with Meguiar's PlastX but it didn't seem to have the same results I wanted.

I noticed theres a little silver clip on the lens. Does the lens come off the the headlight assembly? I'd really like to be able to clean the lens from behind.

Thanks a lot fellas!

To get the results you're looking for will require sanding the outter lens with a very fine sand paper, or buying new lenses.

So when you say replacing the lens, your inferring that they come off without replacing the entire headlight assembly?

Before ditching the headlights, you might want to try Mothers Mag Aluminum polish and a power ball. I've seen this clean up headlights before with good results.
