Re: polished headlights?

if its just a haze on the outside take some mothers metal polish to em and itll be gone. that works appearance wise anyway, not sure if it cures the light cutting or not, but it does clear the appearance of the lens up a LOT

Re: polished headlights?

Do you mean that your headlights are getting condensation/yellowing on the inside? If so, I believe you have to take the headlights apart somehow and clean it out.

bottom of the page...gives you some tips that worked for me.

the reason i went with the polishes is because my local parts store didn't stock anything finer than the 1000 grit wet/dry paper...they now carry 1500 and 2000

which would be a good idea to use.

pretty simple

is each headlight pretty easy to open up in order to clean?

Re: polished headlights?

who said you had to open it up....the "haze" is external and from road debris and weather exposure.

at least all the hazy headlights i've seen on LS1s...

i did all the polishing with the lights still on the car...just be carefull around the edge.

i've gone through and pulled the lights apart to paint the inside...and there was no visible difference or haziness on the inside...it was ALL external.
