There's a guy that drives around here with one. It's on a blue camaro, and I can say it's nasty. They just don't look right on the car. They're very unique, but not a good unique.

 

Kinda looks like the back of an older MR2.

 

Blah I dont like it at all. Just doesent work on an F body.

I've never heard it called a "sport back" before, I've always known it as a "notch back" some 3rd gen t/as came like that. Its one of the rarer options.

All of the images of the blue Camaro are "borrowed" from zls1messiah's webshot community page. The white one is out of Feb. 1997's Super Chevy Magazine. All of the rest are collected from the web also. So, if these are anyone's rides and they don't want the images posted please let 94formulabz know. Just thought I'd share my collection of images because these are hard to find, especially all together. Okay, I'm done with my disclaimer!

My favorite images are the white Camaro and the silver one with the blue stripe. I have a Silver 1996 Z and I plan to do this mod. I will paint it black to match the already black roof. So it will look alot like the white one in this collection.

 

I would like to see some "after" shots of the interior, and exterior shots with the T-Tops and rear window out if possible. Thanks!

 

Is the sport back lighter than the glass hatch? that might be some weight savings!

I would appreciate it. I've known about this mod for several years but I thought I'd try to find some decent images of it before I bought it. I was also waiting for the price to come down, but it looks like that's not going to happen. But anyway, as many different angles as you can get would be very helpful. Thanks again.
