Have any of you made your own direct-to-battery heavy duty headlight harnesses ? ?

Supposedly this is what you need:

-(2) 30 amp relays fusible link (slow reacting fuse protection)
-14 gauge automotive wiring
-male connector to plug into existing headlight socket
-(4) new headlight sockets

Anyone ever done it ? Does it really increase output by 50% ?

Holy thread resurrection

Since that old post, I have learned that it's worth it to just buy the heavy duty harness for $25
