Ordered a Harlan shift light Oct 19th 2003. Have not heard anything since. Won't answer questions on his E-mail. Does anyone know if he is still making the shift light?

 

Yes, he does still make them as far as I am know.

The thing about Harlan is, he is a straight up guy. Very honest, very good person. However, sometimes his job takes him out of state for extended periods of time, AFAIK, and you see the th problems that arise as a result.

I wish I could tell you more stuff that might actually help, and I am not making excuses for him. Just thought I'd at least let you know what I know.

 

To back up what Jason has said, I've seen him around for a very long time. It is a common "complaint" about long periods of time with no responses from him nor a product in your hands. That kinda sucks but the good news is that I based on this being an ongoing thing, he most likely isn't out to take your money and will eventually get your light to you.

IMO, the best thing he can do is not have an auto ordering web page and instead only take email orders. That way if he is out of town for two months he just doesn't respond to emails and that is better than people thinking they have been taken IMO Then, when he gets back in town he responds to his emails and if you still need a light you order it and get it in a timely manner.

 

Don't worry. I ordered one on Oct. 2nd and just got mine last week, and it is very high quality. You'll get it..
