1.)does it hide the scratches?

feel if the scratches are on the inside of the outside, if they are the outside, the tint wont scratch but im not sure if the tint will hide the scratches

i had the same problem on my car, the scratches were on the outside, and its from the felt pads that press against the window on the way up and down ( if we are talkin about the same scratches ). First thing i would do is replace these pads so the window doesnt scratch anymore.

To get the scratches out, i went and bought some fine rubbing compound and used a buffer to buff the window, this should take the scracthes out if they arent too deep, it takes a while, but they should come out.

Since the rubbing compound will leave fine little scracthes on your window, you have to wax them or polish with some less abbrasive, and then less abrasive and so on till they arent noticeable, then just clean them.

If they are on the inside, tint might hide them
